‘Collect, preserve and celebrate’
Collect, preserve and celebrate
The doers, achievers and the liberates,
From the second century to present day
As we Collect and preserve the hidden history
“Adding pride to our culture
The heritage’ prolonged”
Through book and documents, poetry and songs,
From the past we value and want to pass on
Collect, preserve and celebrate
Man or woman,
King or queen,
Their rise, their falls,
Their visions their dreams
Heroes fall and heroes rise, today I wear their skin.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, their heritage is always within.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, its their vision, I am now living in.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, it’s their dreams’ I still love to sing
So people learn or gain new skills
Behaviours and attitude, a change reveals
Culture and heritage, being better managed
Interpreted, explained, identified reported
“The pride in our culture
The heritage’ prolonged”
Through places and events and experiences recorded,
From the past that we value and want to pass on
Collect, preserve and celebrate
Man or woman,
King or queen,
Their rise, their falls,
Their visions their dreams
Heroes fall and heroes rise, today I wear their skin.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, their heritage is always within.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, their culture I am now living in.
Heroes fall and heroes rise, it's their story I still love to sing
Collecting, preserving and celebrating
