Daylight Rookery has been developed through Booted and Rooted, an independent company working in Bromley and with the local community residents. Our common aim of regenerate and improve the area and the lives of the people who live there.

We are embedded in our diverse and vibrant neighbourhoods providing, home and garden maintenance services, recycled gardening furniture, and community clean-up days. This includes having gatherings, barbecues, and family events. has a voluntary gardening project called Cherry Orchard which organises activities in the Rookery Garden Estates. In the future, we intending providing an Adaptive Gardening Programme at our Croydon Allotment

Our community group works with many local organisations such as Clarion Housing, community initiatives such as Building Communities in Bromley and Orpington Neighbourhood Forum, and the Big Local, which are projects designed to empower local people, improve community cohesion, and enhance neighbourhood facilities.

Our aims are to:

Engage in positive action rather than complaints
Put Bromley on the map as a place in their own right from other boroughs
Encourage a sense of community and celebrate St Mary Cray, Rookery Gardens, and the surrounding area
Run activities and events that bring the community together.

We have established a reputation for inspirational and fun workshops. We host regular 'Flower Potting Sessions'

at our volunteers allotment schemes

which occur on every Friday.

PRIVATE - We also put our show on the road for both private and cooperate events. We tailor each to our client’s ethos and vision, creating an individual experience with every event.
